Lago Levico Camping Village offers several itineraries for racing bikes for Valsugana, which happen to be the ideal way to discover of the surrounding areas of Lago di Levico in Trentino.
The Levico Terme - Passo Vezzena route starts from the village of Levico Terme and leads to the entrance of a road of military origin known as "kaiserjagerstrasse". A demanding road that will reward those who travel along it, taking them first to the Belvedere from where it is possible to admire the two lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo and then to the green pastures of the Vezzena plateau to explore the many mountain huts where the famous local cheese is produced.
The Laghi di Levico and Caldonazzo route, with a variant on the Tenna hill, follows cycle paths and secondary roads.
The first section of the route overlooks Lago di Levico from above and leads to the bottom of the valley near the Castle of Pergine. When you reach Pergine, follow a path that leads to the cycle track that runs alongside Lake Caldonazzo.
The climb to Panarotta is a must for all those who want to put themselves to the test. In 2006, this climb earned its legendary status as a mythical climb within the Tour de France.
The two routes, in fact, have similar characteristics even if the climb of Panarotta is slightly longer. The route is very popular with cyclists since you can ride it even during the summer because the many tree branches keep it almost entirely in the shade.
